• OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BOXES PRAISE REPORT
  The counts are in for our two local collection sites. Between these two places, there were 30,600 shoe boxes collected. Statewide there were over 218,000 boxes that are being packaged to be sent to West Africa and India. Pray that the Lord shines His light through these boxes as they get to the children who have been appointed to receive these boxes. God has a plan for each box. Let us be faithful to join Him in the spiritual realm as we pray that His will be accomplished in each and every box!

  As we continue seeking the Lord’s guidance together regarding His will for future facilities, the elders would like to hear what the Lord is revealing to the church family. If God has given you a scripture, a leading, or an insight into the facilities located at 399 Eau Gallie Blvd beachside please call or e-mail an elder.

  We have currently gathered as much information on the property as we are able to without investing financial resources. Before this step is taken, we request that you contact the elders as we discern how the Lord is speaking to our church family. Please continue praying as we seek the Lord’s will regarding what He has in mind for our future facilities.

  We have shared a picture of what the scenario would look like financially if the Lord lead us to proceed with purchasing these facilities. In doing so, however, it should be noted that this is not a financial decision. The question to ask the Lord is, ‘Does He want us to steward these facilities for community outreach?’ If so, He will provide a vision for its use and the finances to ensure that we can cover the purchase and upkeep of the property as we continue to minister to the beachside community and beyond.

  We must continue to stay focused on our mission and vision that the Lord has given us. As we seek the Lord on this issue, it should not distract us from the call to continue to connect, build and transform lives through genuine relationships with Jesus and His family. Keep praying!!!

If you are involved in any of the above ministries, please contact Jill Lambdin in order to provide her with the necessary information to do the background check. The information received from the backgroud checks will be reviewed by a group of the elders and help in confidence. Any inconsistencies will be reviewed and shared with the individual, challenged and re-submitted before the reports are accepted by leadership.

CFTB LIBRARY!!!
CFTB rolling library offers a selection of Christian books and videos/DVDs for the whole family. The library will be available before and after worship to check out and return items. Please browse the book lists on the web site (see the Church Library link on the left side) and contact Nancy Carson to reserve a book. It will be delivered to you the following Sunday morning. All media may be checked out for 3 weeks. Stop by the CFTB library and check them out. If you make a purchase at Family Christian Stores please ask for library stamps. We can redeem these stamps for free products. Your library staff, Sam & Nancy Carson, Jill Lambdin, Trudy Powell and Martha Stewart.

MERRY CHRISTMAS READING
The library is still featuring special Christmas books, CD/audio books and DVDs. Because we have a limited number of Christmas media, we request that you check out only 2 items per family and return them the following Sunday.
It’s Christmastime again, Charlie Brown! Snow on the ground, goodwill in the air and--good grief!-- another Christmas play to perform! Enjoy the whole Peanuts gang in the classic DVD, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Focus on the Family Radio Theatre presents a dramatization of another classic, Charles Dickens’, A Christmas Carol. Listen to it on CD/audio book and let your imagination picture a time before automobiles, TV, computers and cell phones.
Gigi, God’s Little Princess, anticipates The Perfect Christmas Gift. Will she get the crown of her dreams? Author, Sheila Walsh, again captures the excitement of Gigi’s adventures.
