Community of Servants Revealing the Mystery thru Harmony

If you were unable to make our time together last Sunday evening, we had to relocate from Doubles’ due to my booking error. As thirty of us crowded together in our home, we were able to hear from our elders regarding their perspective of where we find ourselves as a church family. We have recognized that we are at a season where more involvement is needed from the church family. We then heard from many people who are feeling led to get involved in ministry and areas of responsibility as those needs become identified. We heard from folks who have been growing spiritually and now realize God’s call to get involved where He is at work. The promise from the Lord is that He will provide the skills, the gifts and the passion to accomplish whatever He calls us to do.

The call from the church family Sunday night was for leadership to ‘make known‘ the needs in our church family as we seek the Lord’s direction to reach out to our community, state and world. Located on page 3 of this newsletter is the beginning of what has been identified as ‘needs‘ requiring prayer and involvement from our church family. Also listed, on page 3 and 4, are outreach events that we can get involved in as we reach out to our local community.

Additionally, we identified the need to pray for our church family as we seek how God would have us individually get involved in ministry for His purposes. He has an individual plan for each of us. It’s comforting to know that our church family will monthly get together in prayer to ask God to pour out His power and direction on the individuals of our church. This Sunday, we will continue to study how we can be the Community of Servants Revealing the Mystery thru Harmony, with a focus on Harmony. We will be in Acts 2:42-47, so read ahead and ask the Lord to speak to your heart regarding His desire for you to grow closer to Him and His church family at church for the beach. See you Sunday!

Love ya'll -
