“Merry Christmas and a big ‘Thank You’ from the Caple family! What a joy it is to be able to serve the church family of church for the beach. As Beth and I were able to share on Sunday night at the Christmas Fellowship Dinner, church for the beach truly reflects the words of Paul to Philemon in v. 7. “Your love has given <us> great joy and encouragement, because you, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.” Praise the Lord that church for the beach functions in a way that ‘our work is a joy, not a burden.’ (Heb 13:17) Praise the Lord that He has ‘called us out’ in these days to fulfill His purpose in our beachside community.

What a blessing it has been to grow in relationships with many of you this year. We look forward to growing deeper this coming year as the Lord reveals His plans for our church family in 2009. Pray for the individuals in our church family that we would clearly hear God’s direction for ministry and service in our lives. Also, pray for the elders and leadership as we seek discernment for the direction of ministry as we see Him move in the individual lives of our church family. We anticipate ‘with great joy’ the coming of Christmas and another New Year. We pray for God’s blessings on each family member of our church family and His peace through each trial that will be encountered in 2009. Together and with Christ - all things are possible!!!

On a personal note, it was a blessing to receive the love offering from our church at our Christmas Fellowship Dinner and we just wanted to let everyone know how much we appreciate it! We love ya’ll so much and this expression of thanks was surely appreciated!Please pray for our family, and all the other families in our church, who will be traveling over the next couple of weeks! We will be making a cross-country journey beginning in Ocala this week, passing through Washington, DC over the weekend on our way to see the Grangers in Vermont. On our way back home we’ll be stopping in the Big Apple, New York City, before making our way back to sunny Florida, just in time for the start of school. We pray for you to experience the love of the Lord, the love of family and the love of our church family this Christmas!
